SUNNY Chinese Kitchen can host Young Chef Cooking Club that teaches young people to have more control of their health and learn how to cook healthy and delicious dishes for themselves and their family. Welcome scout troops, church youth groups, home-schooling groups, or any small groups of young people (age 9 to 16) to sign up.

Each session will include a presentation that offers crucial and useful information around one specific food-related topic, some hands-on activities under adult supervision, and opportunities for these young chef to enjoy making and eating their own products.

The group can choose one from the following sessions offered in the Young Chef Cooking Club:
1. Introduction of Asian Cooking Philosophies (Baked Egg Rolls)
2.Asian Cooking Methods and Common Ingredients (Chinese Potstickers)
3. Healthy Cooking/Eating Habits (Lotus Leaf Chicken Wraps)
4. Cooking with Math & Science (Whole foods Power Smoothies)
5. Introduction of Food Rules by Michael Pollan (Vegetable Stir-Fry)
The cost is $15 per person per session. A FREE instructional DVD that young chefs can bring home to make their own egg rolls, potstickers and steamed lotus wraps at home is available, if signed up for at least three sessions.
SUNNY Chinese Kitchen will need to have at least 8 people but no more than 12 signed up to run a session. The location of Young Chef Cooking Club will be tentatively held in Fishers but can be changed to a different location, if needed. Please contact us for questions and comments you might have.
